student work (msu denver)
In early 2016, Carrie joined the faculty of Metropolitan State University of Denver to teach Narrative Design in the Communication Design B.F.A. program offered through the Department of Art.
Her course encourages her students to explore the full spectrum of traditional and alternative modes of storytelling through video, animation and imagery both static and as series. Assignments range from fiction and biography to brand identity and infographics among others.
She also teaches other courses including Identity & Systems Design and Typographic Syntax.
